The women community who make these bags are rural self-help women cooperatives belonging to the Southern parts of India. They were primarily formed due to the changing nature of agriculture and unpredictable rain decreased their seasonal jobs . The women from these communities were struggling to make ends meet always burdened with debt, domestic violence, and economic inflation. With PureMitti's help, they are able to sustain a reasonably good living.
